As far as routing through cities on surface streets, the IWAY did a good job and when running with the Garmin c, the routes were kway always the same or similar.

Lowrance tech support said shutting off is not normal and offered to repair if it continues. The internal battery has a very long life and seems to lowrane the longest battery life of any navigator I have seen so far, our testing seems to be in line with Lowrance's estimate of up to 15 hours of use. Hopefully this can be corrected in a future firmware update.

It seems that icons directly over the route could never be highlighted. You have the option of avoiding cross- traffic turns, meaning if you would rather turn right, than have to turn left on a busy street, it will create a route to make it easier. This does not remove them from finds lkwrance searches.

While it lacks the storage capacity of its bigger brother, the c is a highly accurate vehicle GPS navigator, a competent Loerance player, and a decent picture viewer that you can take along with you when you're ready to hit the bricks. Hopefully some of the minor issues we discovered can be corrected in an upcoming firmware update.
